Cybersecurity Canon Annual Gala
The Cybersecurity Canon Hall of Fame, founded by former Palo Alto Networks CISO Rick Howard and curated by leading information security professionals, celebrates the must-read books in cybersecurity. It serves as the definitive guide for anyone seeking essential reading on topics like information security, privacy, risk management, and beyond.

Throughout the year, book reviews are crowdsourced from the cybersecurity community and supplemented by a volunteer committee of experts. Each review determines whether a book merits nomination for the Cybersecurity Canon or the prestigious Hall of Fame. Annually, the committee evaluates these nominations, selecting a few exceptional titles for Hall of Fame status.

To achieve Hall of Fame recognition, a book must meet rigorous criteria. It must provide deep insights into a cybersecurity topic, reference historical events and themes, and offer forward-looking implications for the field. In short, it must be essential reading for aspiring cybersecurity experts. The Cybersecurity Canon Gala celebrates those current and past Hall of Fame honorees in a room full of the top minds in security.

This year's event will be held in Washington DC, April 3rd!
