Last year, I decided to repurpose my trusty arm and leg braces from past injuries into something a little more… futuristic. Behold: Cyborg CEO. Who knew recovery gear could double as a Halloween costume?
It got me thinking: in business (and life), sometimes we don’t have the perfect tools or ideal circumstances, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make something great. Whether it’s limited resources, tight budgets, or even an unplanned pivot, the key is to use what you have creatively.
As leaders, we’re often faced with challenges or gaps. Instead of waiting for the "perfect" solution, we can innovate with what’s in front of us. Turns out, my medical hardware works pretty well for fighting off imaginary robot invasions—or running a business.
So here’s my challenge to you: What can you turn into a strength that might not look like one at first glance? Put in the comments below...
Happy (early) Halloween from your resident cyborg! Now time to figure out what I will dress as this year. 🎃
